Being hooked on goats I went through many learning curves as many do. I learned to be part vet, mid wife, care taker, surrogate mom, hoof trimmer, feeder and stable hand. I spend many nights in the barn at kidding time. I increase my knowledge every day by attending classes that The Goat Producer Association offers and going to meetings. I'm now a member of the American Boer Goat Association (ABGA) and have applied for the Kentucky Proud Program. I work very close with veterinarian Jesse Lay to insure the highest quality herd possible. Raising goats is not for the faint of heart. While there are lots of up and downs, I found that the rewards outweigh any of the downs.
In 2008 I realized I wanted to make this a much bigger venture.
I knew in my heart that God had given me a gift.
That is when my vision began, about business and helping others...
People need QUALITY food that is very HEALTHY!
So it began! I started to groom my herd for quality, size and health!
My herd currently consists of 26 Does & growing!
All are BIG boned, wide chest/hips and muscular, with unique colors to complete them.
All are multi-use, available as pets, for breeding or healthy meat.
Please see Goats page for more detailed information.
Breeding schedule is always June to August.
